Sunny Days

We have been blessed with three glorious spring days (of course, as I type it is cloudy and sprinkling, but this IS Washington!).  The beautiful days made me grateful for our proximity to the park and for an enclosed backyard, not to mention the much needed vitamin D! It has been really great to have Clara be at an age where she will go out into the backyard to play.  Lately she takes her tool box out and will work on "projects" by herself or boss around Peter and Benjamin (her imaginary rabbit friends!).  The other day she was yelling and I opened to sliding glass door to hear what she was saying and heard, "Peter, stop doing that or we will need to have a conversation!". She is always quick to take on the "mom" role...

At our new house we are just a couple blocks from the park which is so nice!  We have found ourselves down there at some point everyday.  I am relishing these days of flexible schedules and jaunts to the park on a whim, as I know it won't be like this for long. But while it is here we will take advantage of park visits, tag in the front yard, picnics, and mornings of reading on the couch!

Returning from a morning "PJ Walk" with Dad & JB.
She loves her cheetah pajamas and regularly announces "PJ dinners"
and puts them on at 5:00pm. Makes bedtime a little easier!

Front yard tag with Daddy! I love her little arms!

Tackle (or perhaps tickle) Time!

Sweet girl...growing up too fast!

Tongue out, lovey in hand

Clara, camping in the living room with her sleeping bag, while Maggie tries to chew on the elastic string.
"Ribbie", Clara's frog lovey was discovered in the bottom of her sleeping bag after being
MIA for a couple weeks! She is taking this opportunity to have a good snuggle.

Oh, Ribbie!
